Inspired by the teaching of Swami Vivekananda, a disciple of Sri Rama Krishna Paramahamsa, he gained more knowledge about Raja Yoga and practised the same and at a point when he was in a dilemma of doing nothing in this world, decided to pass the knowledge of yoga to people surrounding him and did the same which ultimately led to the formation of Mathatitu Yoga Ashram. In 2014, he decided to dedicate his life for yoga.

He has done advanced teacher training from Sivananda Yoga Ashram. He has travelled throughout India and mastered the different styles of yoga and believes in bringing together all brancHes of yoga exercises together.

After studying at the D.B College Sasthamcotta, he joined the 'Brahmavidya Acharya' course in 1985 at the Sivagiri Mutt Varkala. The Brahmavidya Acharya course is a seven year course conducted by the Sree Narayana Sivagiri Mutt for prospective sanyasins. Seven years they teach Yoga, Vedanta and other schools of Indian philosophy. Sunil successfully completed the Brahma vidya acharya course under the guidance's of Swami Chitkananda, Swami Kaivalyananda, Prof.R Vasudevan Potti, Prof.G Balakrishnan Nair and others.

Ans. I teach the 200 Hr YTTC and I’ve been at Rishikul Yogshala for 1 year
